Logging on to iCarol

Logging on to iCarol

How to Sign on to iCarol

Before you can access the information stored within your iCarol system, first you must enter your individual credentials to login.

To log into iCarol, complete the following steps:
  1. Open your browser and go to https://na0.icarol.com if you use the NA0 data center, or https://na1.icarol.com if you use the NA1 data center.
  2. Enter your email address and password and click 'Sign On'
  3. If it's your first time logging into iCarol you're prompted to change your password, and you can follow the steps in this help article to change your password at anytime
If you wish to log into more than one iCarol system, or if you wish to log into iCarol as more than one user at the same time, you must open a different browser for each login. For example, complete the steps above to log into iCarol as user A from Google Chrome, and complete the same steps again using different login information to log into iCarol as user B from Mozilla Firefox.

How do I know which log in page to use? Most customers use the NA0 data center.  When you are logged into iCarol, look at the top right corner of the page.  In red text you will see either NA0 or NA1, and this is what data center your system is in.  You can also look at the URL of the webpage.  If it starts with https://na0.icarol.com, then you use the NA0 data center.  if it starts with https://na1.icarol.com, then you use the NA1 data center.

Remember my Email Address

  1. On the sign on page you have the option to select "remember my email address".
    1. Once selected it will auto-populate your email address from your last sign on and you no longer have to manually retype it.
    2. This is a setting stored in a small file on your computer called a "cookie".
  2. If you find that your email address does not auto-populate despite you selecting this feature, the following may be the reason.
    1. Anti-spyware and/or anti-virus software might be configured to automatically delete any "cookies" on your system on a daily basis. If so, the cookie would be gone and iCarol would not remember the email address from your last sign on.
    2. Please check with your technical staff to see if they can disable this feature of your computers' software or permit iCarol's "cookies" to remain.
Troubleshooting: Log on results in error message
Login attempts using outdated webpages will result in an error message of 'web page has moved' or 'bad response'.  It may be that the volunteer/staff are using an outdated bookmark on their browser.
Steps to rectify:
1.  Delete that bookmark
2.  Go to https://na0.icarol.com or https://na1.icarol.com, depending on which data center you use
3.  On the resulting page create a NEW bookmark

Troubleshooting: Logging in does not show Home screen
When logging into iCarol, a volunteer/staff might see a specific iCarol page (example specific call report) instead of what they normally expect (the home page).
This may be because the volunteer/staff created a bookmark to iCarol which was not made from the login screen.
To remedy this, have the volunteer/staff:
  1. Delete their iCarol bookmark
  2. Create a new one from https://na0.icarol.com or https://na1.icarol.com, depending on which data center you use
