iCarol HIPAA and GDPR Compliance
iCarol annually performs a HIPAA self assessment in conjunction with the Harris IT security team and our chief information security officer. Every three years we have an external party conduct a HIPAA assessment. We also work with the Harris legal and compliance team for the following regulations: HIPAA, GDPR, PIPEDA, CCPA and other state privacy regulations.
A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is a HIPAA specific written arrangement that specifies each party's responsibilities when it comes to PHI. If you are a US based customer and you are logging PHI, please contact us to sign a BAA if you have not already done so, or if you are unsure if you have signed one.
If your organization would like to obtain a BAA you previously signed with iCarol, or if you need additional information for purposes regarding HIPAA and GDPR compliance, that information can be provided upon request.
