Sandbox System
What is a Sandbox System?
If you plan to make a number of changes or additions to the way your business flows and want to see how things will eventually change in your system before rolling them out to your live system, you might opt to set up an iCarol test system, or what we refer to as a "sandbox system".
- Sandbox systems can also be used for training, so, for instance, call reports entered by those being trained will not affect statistics in your production system.
- You log into your Sandbox system with the same website as your Production system, but you'll use a different email address that's associated with your Sandbox system.
- An iCarol sandbox system will give you the freedom to make as many changes as you want to your system, and when you are ready to go live the changes can be imported into your lives system.
- When your Sandbox is first created, it can be setup as almost an exact copy of your production system. It's important to know any changes made in your production system aren't made automatically in your Sandbox. Any changes made in your Production system need to be made manually in your Sandbox
Note, this feature may have an additional cost associated with it. If your organization is interested in enabling this feature, then a designated Support Contact from your organization can go to 'Help' in the left side menu and submit a case to request more information.
