Assign ReferralQ Resources Directly from Contact Form

Admins and Supervisors can assign ReferralQ Resources directly from a contact form automatically.  If you would like users at other security levels to be able to assign ReferralQ Resource Directly from a contact form, this must be enabled.

How to enable Vols-Staff to assign ReferralQ Resources directly from Contact Forms

  1. Log into iCarol as an Admin of user with access to Vol-Staff Advanced Security Settings
  2. Locate and open the Vol-Staff profile
  3. Click on the Admin tab
  4. Click on Advanced Security Settings
  5. Click to enable the setting 'Can assign ReferralQ Resources from Contact Records', under the Contact Records section
  6. Click the 'Save Settings' button at the top of the page

How to assign ReferralQ Resources directly from Contact Forms

  1. Create or edit a contact form that has been assigned to one or more ReferralQs
  2. Click the Resources tab, or scroll to the Resources section of the contact form
  3. Click the box in the 'Select' column next to the ReferralQ you want to assign the contact form to
  4. Click the drop-down menu in the 'Resource Program' column and select the Resource to assign
  5. Click the drop-down menu in the 'Status' column and select the appropriate Status to reflect that the referral to the resource has been completed

How to check ReferralQ Capacity from the Contact Form

Similar to checking capacity from the ReferralQ Dashboard, a snapshot of the capacity at the time the contact record was opened can be displayed.  
  1. Create or edit a contact form that has been assigned to one or more ReferralQs
  2. Click the Resources tab, or scroll to the Resources section of the contact form
  3. Click the box in the 'Select' column next to the ReferralQ you want to assign the contact form to
  4. Click the blue circle in the Resource Program column


Note: The capacity numbers shown do not reflect real-time capacity or include any ReferralQ Dashboard or other contact record assignments made after the contact record was opened.  It is possible the shown capacity may not be available at the time the contact record is submitted.  However, this will not prevent the contact record from being submitted.
