Understanding iCarol Resource Structure
iCarol's Resource component allows you to create and store information about service providers in your area so that you can refer your clients to them for further assistance. The Resources feature has a wide range of settings and capabilities, which makes it extremely versatile and easy for helplines to use.
There are 4 types of Resource Records available within iCarol. Your organization can choose to use 1 or all of these record types to meet your needs. The Resource record types include:
- Agency: a legally recognized organization (or division) that delivers services.
- Site: the physical location/branch from which clients access services
- Program: types of assistance an agency delivers to its clients; can be a group of specific services
- ProgramAtSite: the connection between a Program offered at a Site; the ProgramAtSite record is always created if you use the setting to offer a Program at one or more Sites, but some organizations choose not to edit ProgramAtSite records and therefore they are only created in the background
