Admins can enable additional fields to be displayed on the initial search results page, for users with access to search your resource database. This provides additional information to users, without having to open the resource record by clicking details. Fields that may be included are:
- Coverage Areas - defined list (may slow performance)
- This data comes from the 'Coverage area served by this resource' section of the resource record. As noted, turning this option on may impact the speed of resource searches
- Coverage area description
- This data comes from the 'Describe the coverage area below' text field in the resource record. IMPORTANT NOTE: As of March 2018, this option is only available to those who are not using the new resource search screen. This option will be added to the new resource search screen later in the year.
- Application Process
- This data comes from the 'Application Process' text field in the resource record
- Eligibility
- This data comes from the 'Eligibility' text field in the resource record
- Languages Offered
- This data comes from the 'Languages Offered' text field in the resource record. Please note, this option will not display the languages selected using the 'List of world languages' tool
- Hours of Operation
- This data comes from the 'Description of hours' text field in the resource record. Please note, this option will not display the open and closed hours as noted in the Hours of Operation table in the resource record, found just above the 'Description of hours' text field.
- Fees
- This data comes from the 'Program Fees' text field in the resource record
- Closest Site to your search location that is linked to the Program or Agency in search results
- If the resource database uses Site records, and a Program or Agency in the search results has multiple related Site records, the physical address as noted in the 'Site Location' section of the Site record related to the Agency or Program record will be displayed
- The value in a selected custom field
- This data comes from the 'Custom fields' section of the resource record
To enable these fields, complete the following steps:
- As an Admin level user, click 'Admin Tools' from your left side menu
- Click the 'Resources' tab at the top of the page
- In the 'Search results also shows these fields:' section, select the option(s) you would like to turn on
- Click the 'Save all settings' button
