Additional SMS Settings

How to turn on additional SMS settings

iCarol has added additional SMS settings to the software so communication with staff, volunteers and clients is easier than ever.  There are three new ways to communicate via text message:
  1. Send SMS messages to staff and volunteers from within iCarol
  2. Send automated notifications like shift reminders via SMS
  3. Send outbound SMS messages to follow-up with clients
To turn on any of these options, follow these steps:
  1. Click Admin Tools in the left hand menu
  2. Click the Messaging tab
  3. Select check boxes allow staff and volunteers to send SMS's to each other, to send automated notification like shift reminders and/or outbound SMS messages from call report follow-up activities.
  4. Click the "Save all settings" button at the top of the screen
Note: Automated SMS notifications like shift reminders may be sent at any time during the day/night.
